Requirements:
- Cert CII Qualification Preferred – preference will be given to candidates with a Cert CII qualification or higher.
- Proven Experience – a minimum of 2 years experience managing large commercial insurance portfolios or in financial services is essential.
- Strong Communication Skills – excellent communication abilities and strong IT skills are essential for building rapport with clients, negotiating effectively with insurers, and delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:
- Client Management – manage a portfolio of clients from new business through to renewal stage, providing outstanding service and ensuring seamless coordination between all parties involved.
- Assessing Insurance Needs – identify and assess the insurance needs of clients, recommending suitable insurance products and solutions based on their unique requirements.
- Negotiating Insurance Terms – liaise with insurance underwriters on behalf of clients, negotiating insurance terms and premiums to secure favourable deals.
- Policy Administration – issue and administer insurance policies, handling new business placement, renewals, and endorsements with meticulous attention to detail.
- Client Support – respond to client queries, concerns, and claims promptly and professionally to maintain satisfaction and trust.
- Record Keeping – maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients’ insurance policies and interactions for compliance purposes.
- Industry Knowledge – stay up-to-date with changes in the insurance industry and regulatory requirements, sharing knowledge with colleagues and clients to provide informed guidance.
- Collaboration – collaborate with colleagues in other departments such as claims, risk management, and marketing to ensure clients receive comprehensive service.

As an Account Executive at Anthony James, you will be responsible for managing and retaining an existing client portfolio while also identifying and securing new business opportunities. This role requires a sound understanding of insurance policies, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to client management.
- Client Portfolio Management – develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing appropriate solutions and serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and support needs.
- New Business Development – identify potential new clients through market research, networking, and referrals. Proactively reach out to prospects to present our services and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Insurance Policy Expertise – demonstrate a thorough understanding of various insurance products and policies and stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in insurance products to provide informed advice to clients.
- Effective Communication – communicate clearly and professionally with clients, colleagues, and insurance carriers, both orally and in writing. As well as prepare and present proposals, reports, and other documentation to clients and prospects.
- Administrative Duties – ensure accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, policy information, and sales activities in the company’s CRM system. Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, claims, and administration, to expedite client requests and resolve issues.
